If privacy is important to you then Balcony cabins to avoid (including those which are suites) are on Deck 8. That’s because these balconies are all on the same level as the wraparound promenade. Walkers and runners lapping the Promenade Deck (of which there are many) pass these balconies every time they circuit the ship. They can also see INTO the cabin which means that you need to close curtains every time you require privacy.

With a choice of 30 venues, Arvia has many food and beverage bars open from early-morning until late-night. Arvia has more than 30 bars and restaurants, but whereas sister ship Iona has four main dining rooms, Arvia only has two. One is the included 6th Street Diner -- a hugely popular all-American diner with a gourmet Southern twist.
There are many other bars throughout the ship including several in the atrium and three in and around the SkyDome. Arvia bars all offer P&O’s own brand gin and rum, made in the onboard distillery. The best place to try this is in the gin bar Anderson’s, ideally placed for a pre- or post-dinner tipple. The 6th Street Diner is one of the most popular alternate dining venues on Arvia. At the other end of the ship, the Club House is a show lounge used for everything from bingo and guest speakers through to live music from the house band in the evenings.
It has 31 percent more Inside cabins available, which is more than on any other of P&O Cruises' ships (this is great for budget-conscious cruisers) as well as 28 single cabins for which there is a single person supplement. Cabins across the board are stylish and contemporary with striking artwork. Arvia's stunning, three-storey Grand Atrium will feature vast ocean views, becoming the heart of the ship’s entertainment offering. Look out for spectacular aerial performers descending through the triple-height space and a striking installation of metal champagne-coloured ribbons, framing the staircase. Passengers will get a full programme of entertainment, including 'local buskers', pop-up talks, magicians and performers. A staple of mega-cruise ships, a new mini-golf course will grace the top deck of Arvia, directly below Altitude Skywalk on Deck 19.
On March 6, 2020, were announced three aerial acrobatic shows designed for MS Iona (available on MS Arvia too) - Rise (birds-themed), Dream (magic-themed) and Triboo (battle between the Moon and Sun tribes). Rise and Triboo are performed at the SkyDome, while Dream is at the Atrium. Two new for P&O UK aerial shows (Virtuosi, Spark) were developed for MS Iona and available on Arvia too.
